민수기(Numbers) 29:12∼40: 주님의 은혜에 대한 감사

유월절에서 시작된 절기는 초막절(장막절)에서 마무리됩니다. 오늘날 교회에서 지키는 추수감사절에 해당하는 절기가 바로 초막절입니다. 솔직히 추수감사절도 모르고 지나치는 해가 많이 있는 것이 사실임을 고백합니다. '아 오늘이 추수감사절이었나?..."

매일성경에 의하면 초막절은 속죄일 이후 5일 후에 시작되어 7일간 계속된다고 합니다. "여호와께서 모세에게 말씀하여 이르시되"로 시작되는 민수기 28절부터 계속해서 예배와 절기에 대한 설명이 이어집니다. 계속해서 성회에서 모임에 대한 중요성을 강조하고 있습니다.

그들의 달력은 유교절(Passover)로 시작하고 그 날은 발효가 되지 않은 무교병(마초 빵?)을 먹으면서 애굽에서 종살이 할 때를 기억한다고 합니다. 여행 중 먹었던 발효가 된 빵도 맛이 별로였는데 발효가 안된 빵 맛은 정말 어떨지요.

[장막절]

12. ○일곱째 달 열다섯째 날에는 너희가 성회로 모일 것이요 아무 일도 하지 말 것이며 이레 동안 여호와 앞에 절기를 지킬 것이라

13. 너희 번제로 여호와께 향기로운 화제를 드리되 수송아지 열세 마리와 숫양 두 마리와 일 년 된 숫양 열네 마리를 다 흠 없는 것으로 드릴 것이며

14. 그 소제로는 고운 가루에 기름을 섞어서 수송아지 열세 마리에는 각기 십분의 삼이요 숫양 두 마리에는 각기 십분의 이요

15. 어린 양 열네 마리에는 각기 십분의 일을 드릴 것이며

16. 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에 숫염소 한 마리를 속죄제로 드릴 것이니라

37. 그 소제와 전제는 수송아지와 숫양과 어린 양의 수효를 따라 규례대로 할 것이며

12. "`On the fifteenth day of the seventh month, hold a sacred assembly and do no regular work. Celebrate a festival to the LORD for seven days.

13. Present an offering made by fire as an aroma pleasing to the LORD, a burnt offering of thirteen young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.

14. With each of the thirteen bulls prepare a grain offering of three-tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil; with each of the two rams, two-tenths;

15. and with each of the fourteen lambs, one-tenth.

16. Include one male goat as a sin offering, in addition to the regular burnt offering with its grain offering and drink offering.

17. "`On the second day prepare twelve young bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.

18. With the bulls, rams and lambs, prepare their grain offerings and drink offerings according to the number specified.

26. "`On the fifth day prepare nine bulls, two rams and fourteen male lambs a year old, all without defect.

오늘 정한 구절입니다. (민 29:39∼40)

"너희가 이 절기를 당하거든 여호와께 이같이 드릴지니 이는 너희의 서원제나 낙헌제로 드리는 번제, 소제, 전제, 화목제 외에 드릴 것이니라 모세가 여호와께서 모세에게 명령하신 모든 일을 이스라엘 자손에게 말하니라 (`In addition to what you vow and your freewill offerings, prepare these for the LORD at your appointed feasts: your burnt offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings and fellowship offerings.'"

앞에서도 대부분 소개했는데 계속해서 각종 절기에 대한 소개이며 모세가 여호와께서 명령하신 이 모든 일들을 이스라엘 자손에게 말했다고 성경은 기록하고 있습니다. 그들이 지켰던 절기를 지금도 지키고 있다고 하는데 우리는 일주일 하루 주일날 교회가는 것도 힘들어 하네요.

이스라엘 서원제(Vows)는 하나님께 무엇을 하겠다거나 일정 기간 하지 않겠다고 자발적으로 하는 약속이며, 이행하지 못했을 경우에는 속건제(희생예물)를 드려 용서받아야 했다고 한다. 낙헌제(Freewill offering)은 하나님의 선하심에 감사하여 자발적이고 즐거운 마음으로 예물을 드리는 제사. 번제(Burnt offering)며, 상번제는 매일 드리는 번제. 소제(gran offering)은 곡식으로 드리는 제사. 전제(Drink offering)은 피를 상징하는 포도주에 붓는 의식. 그리고 화목제(Peace offering)는 하나님과 인가니 평화를 얻도록 드리는 제사 (자료: http://bible.goodtv.co.kr).

사진은 이스라엘 여행 중 벧구브린 국립공원 가는 길 계속 흐렸던 하늘이 열리면서 장관을 연출했는데 그 때 찍은 사진입니다. 오늘 구절과 맞는 것 같아 선택했습니다. 주님과 나와의 관계에 어떠한 약속이 있어야 할지를 생각해 보는 구절입니다.

어제 앞 집에 오랜만에 손님들이 와서 밤새 시끄러웠는데 조용히 하라고 한 마디만 하고 문닫고 잤습니다. 또 노래 시작하네요... ㅠㅠ 참고 아침밥 준비해야...
